He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Shepard and Reba Brown; and his brother Ernest Lee Byas. He is survived by: his siblings, Troy Adam Byas of South Dakota, Arthur Byas of Sioux City, Iowa and Estell Brown of Midway, Texas; and his sister-in-law Evadell Byas. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
