He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Rule and Gertrude Rule (Patterson); his wife Pauline Rule; his brothers, Cloyde, Robert, Ronnie, Jerry and Leon; his son Wayne Rule; his daughter-in-law Lillie Rule; and his grandson Russell Rule.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Rule of Taos and Diane Mendez (Michael) of Midlothian; his grandchildren, Beth Robertson (John), Justin Mendez, Kevin Rule, Karl Rule, Kelly Evans (Ian) and Laci Mendez; his great grandchild Lily Robertson; his daughter-in-law Jody Rule; and his sister-in-law Jean Rule. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
