It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonny Raymond Blackstock of Midlothian, Texas, born in Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Raymond Blackstock and Mary Elizabeth Downing Blackstock; his children, Jerry Lee Blackstock and Johnny Ray Blackstock; and his siblings, Connie Lane, Mary Poddicord and Wayne Blackstock.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Fry, Sandra Grubbs and Terry Blackstock; his grandchildren, Taylor Leaser, Lindsey Fry, Chase Fry and Dalton Grubbs; and his sister Pricilla McBride. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
