It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Bryant (Midlothian, Texas), born in Blooming Grove, Texas, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee and Nettie Bryant; and his brother Jackie Charles Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Laverne Bryant; his sisters, Mary Beth Norman, Glenda Smith and Barbara Southerland (George); his children, Jerry Wortman (Vicky), Gene Wortman (Reba), Ava Cook (Dale) and Ronnie Bryant (Becky); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Underwood (Jay), Sandra Cook, Michelle Garcia, Jacklyn Caldwell, James "Butch" Bryant, Samuel Bryant, Stephen Bryant and Lee Wortman (Courtney).
