He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Stephens and Gladys Stephens; his sister Joyce Darlene Spotts; his wife Gwendolyn; and his grandson William Cody Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Roger L. Stephens (Blanche) of Ovilla, Texas, Lee Stephens (Kathy) of Winterport, Maine and Beverly Hanawalt (Neil) of Fort Collins, Colorado. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
