She is survived by: her husband Norman Gene Challenner; her brother Lin Lewis; her children, Richard Challenner (Mary), Phillip Challenner (Nena) and Jeanne Anne Nabavi (Hessam); her grandchildren, Ryan Challenner, Aaron Challenner (Rachel) and Omeed Nabavi (Ashley); and her great grandchild Alice.
