She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayland Layne Sr. and Dorotha Darling Layne; her husband Joe E. Eakin; her brothers, Wayland Layne Jr. and Peter Woodfin Layne; her sister-in-law Arleen Layne; her niece Terri Layne Miller; and her nephew Derrick Eakin.
She is survived by: her nephew Scott Layne (Vicki); her great-niece Brittany; her great-nephews, Scotty Layne (Brittany Ann Layne) and Matthew Parlington; her brothers-in-law, Dan Eakin (Cindy) and Gene Eakin (Lyn); her nieces and nephews, Shelby Yllana and Steven Eakin; and her children, Tuffy, Honey, Dottie and Case.
