He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace James Johnson and Willie Mae Bell-Johnson; his brothers, Willie Roy (Billy), Bobby Joe, Leeophis and Horace Wayne; his granddaughter Latoya; and his great grandchild Tahila.

He is survived by: his children, Gerald Dewayne Pickett of Arlington, TX, Gregory Brian Johnson (Joyce) of Wichita, KS and Tiffany Dionne Satisfield of Mansfield, TX; and his siblings, Mary Childers of Minneapolis, MN and Clevophis Johnson of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
