He is survived by: his sons, Jay (Monique) and Lance (Sarah); his grandchildren, Carly Barksdale Wallace (Tyler), Chase, Caroline and Davis Barksdale; and his brother Edward Ray Barksdale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
