It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iva Earlene Carroll of Midlothian, Texas, born in Caney, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father George Brawner; her former husband JJ Carroll; her siblings, Harold of Lesley, A. D. and Kloes; her half-brother Elton Brawner; her siblings-in-law, Fern Brawner, Mahala Cullum, Betty Brawner and Donald Hayes; and her children-in-law, Diane Carroll and Jimmy Gray.
She is survived by: her mother Myrtle Dale Brawner (Simpson); her husband Joseph Jeremiah Carroll (JJ); her children, Mike Carroll of Ennis, Ronnie Carroll (Velvet) of Heath, Texas, Donna Jobe Nabb (Don) of Midlothian, Texas, Dianna Gray of Midlothian Texas and Deanna Engledow (Troy) of Berry, Texas.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jobe, Jake Carroll, Hannah Carroll Tully (Robert), Jessica Jobe, Casey Engledow, Meagan Engledow, Chad Carroll, Amanda Carroll Lee (Henry), Kalleigh Carroll and Ashley Gray Couey (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Connor, Charlotte, Leah, Kadence and Townes; her children, Tanner, Kagen, Krew, Colt, Donny, Jenni Tooman Tanner, Kaleb, Hudson and Baylor; her sister Jewell Hayes of Paris; and her sister-in-law Jessie Brawner of Ivanhoe, Texas.. She is also survived by "Mom" to her children and "Ma" to her grandchildren.
