She was predeceased by: her parents, Hecht O'Neal and Pearl O'Neal; her husband Arleigh Strasser; her brother Bennie Lee O'Neal; and her son-in-law Jeff Saal.
She is survived by: her children, Neal (Vicki), Michelle and Valerie; and her grandchild Leslie Joan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, a prodigious seventeen great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
