She was predeceased by: her husband Leland Spurlock; her sisters, Ruth Baker and Ellen Wright; and her parents, Johnnie Janes and Edna Monroe Janes.
She is survived by: her son Gary Spurlock (Cathy) of Midlothian, Texas; her brother John L. Janes of Grand Saline, Texas; and her daughter Jeanne Sprayberry (JD) of Balch Springs, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a very large extended family.
