We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 91, Elvin Wayne Sweet of Midlothian, Texas, born in Woodward, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sweet and Iva Sweet (Lynes); his wife Beverly Sweet; his daughter Susan Kay; his siblings, Charlotte Poage, Ruth Leaser, Arnold Sweet, Vernon Sweet and Marion Sweet; and his granddaughter Emily Bower.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Stewart (Paul) of Maypearl and Lori Bower (Dan) of Venus, Texas.; his grandsons, Brad (Sara) of Plano, Kevin (Kylie) of Fort Worth and Brian (Amy); his great grandchild Elijah Stewart of Plano; his sisters, Lena Mae Regan of Woodward and Evelyn Baird of Stillwater; and also Amy Bruno of Wasilla. He is also survived by five nieces, three nephews, many relatives and friends.
