He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benham and Ada Benham (West). He is survived by: his former wife Doris Muse; his children, Robert Duane Benham, Danny Alan Benham, Shawn Nobles and James Barrans; his wife Laura Benham; his stepchildren, Kitty Nobles of Midlothian, TX, Samantha Nobles, Drew McKnight of Glenn Heights, TX and Stephanie Barrans of Desoto, TX; and his siblings, Ralph Benham of Stockton, Missouri, Paul, Genie Benham of Pleasanton, Kansas and Donna Howerton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous dear friends.

The family requests that donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or The American Cancer Society.
