He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee Campbell and Irene Elizabeth Frye of Statesville, NC.; and his granddaughter Derlie JoAnn Campbell McHugh. He is survived by: his wife Reba Byrd Campbell; his children, Cynthia Elizabeth Campbell Martin (David) of Statesville, NC, Patricia Dawn Campbell Koning (Donald) of Grant, MI., John Walter Campbell (Donna) of Sparta, NC and Wesley Dean Campbell of Turnersburg, NC.; and his stepson Jack Dayton White III (Katherine) of Venus, TX.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and a couple great grandchildren and his precious fur-babies.
