He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Susan Ball (Frank Ball). He is survived by: his parents, Virgie Avinger and Allison Avinger; his wife Marilyn Avinger; his cousins, Camille Hornbeck (Jeff), Bill Lee (Janice) and Cassandra Smart; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Deneen (Robert), Carol Benson, Jim Blindauer (Cindy) and David Blindauer (Jacki); and his sister Corinne Bellmaire. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews.
