He was predeceased by: his parents, Louisa Young (Snedden) and Kermit Young; his brother Bob Young; and his great grandchild Gavin Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Luanne Prielipp of Tomah; his brother Greg Young (Debbie); his children, Cindy Cain, Bill Young (Audrey) and Patricia Spiser (Mike); his grandchildren, Shelly Anderson (Grant), Brian Cain (Jezel), Stacy Burling (Shane), Susan Bain (Mitch), Michael Cain (Gwenn), Steven Cain (Haley), Geoffrey Waterman (Shawna) and Dan Waterman; and his stepgrandsons, Kolby Puhlmann, Mitch Spiser and Sean Spiser (Keely). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kelview Heights Baptist Church (402 W Scharbauer Dr, Midland, TX 79705). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the Serenity Memorial Gardens - Midland (6800 TX-349, Midland, TX 79706).
