Sylvia Paredes Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025, Sylvia Paredes of Midland, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Sylvia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sylvia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margarito Paredes and Cruz Paredes; and her siblings, Frank Paredes and Eva Mendez. She is survived by: her siblings, Leticia Almanza, Judy Schmidt, Mary Munoz, Margie Galvan, Joe Salas and Jaime Paredes.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Willowbrook Funeral Home Chapel (1311 W Florida Ave, Midland, TX 79701). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (1906 W Texas Ave, Midland, TX 79701). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705).
