She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. "Dutch" Lunsford and Marguarette "Margie" Lunsford; her siblings, Butch Lunsford and Sharon Halbrook; and her granddaughter McKenzie Cook.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Cook of Midland; her children, Stephanie DesOrmeaux (Andy) of Fort Stewart, GA, Nicholas Cook (Jamie) of La Porte, TX and Jerry Cook II of Midland; her grandchildren, Morgan DesOrmeaux (Tabitha) of Midland, Ethan DesOrmeaux, Aaron DesOrmeaux of Fort Stewart, GA, Jonithan Subia (Anselina) of Summerwood, TX, Joseph Belyeu of La Porte, TX, McKenna Cook of Midland, McKinley Cook of Midland, McKadyn Cook of Midland and Stephanie Girlinghouse (Caleb) of Midland; her brother Doug Lunsford (Ann) of San Angelo; and her great grandchildren, Rayleigh, Grayson DesOrmeaux, Phoenix Rivera (Subia), Macy, Audrey Girlinghouse, Brielle and Lucia Subia. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705).
