She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Watson and Robert Lee Carpenter; her stepfather Author Watson Sr.; her brother Author Watson Jr.; and her daughter Shonda Dolloff.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Lynn Nye (Eldon Nye); her husband Leslie Homer Weis Jr. of Midland; her children, Jimmy Webb (Mandy), Stacy Brian Weis (Leany), Lance Ryan Weis (Sylvia) and Kamye La Nell Smith (Darryl); her grandchildren, Tara Kistler, Michael Dolloff, Brianna Schulze, Wyatt Kody, Brendan Webb, Joshua Weis, Kristen Weis, Darrinesha Shaw, Denasia Smith, Heather Smith-Cox, Cora Smith, Bryson Smith, Brooklyn Smith, Sierra Weis, Prinz Lean Weis and Leroy Weis; and her great grandchildren, Vivianne, Jackson, Reagan and Presley.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at the same location.
