With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Quilla Thompson Beaty of Midland, Texas, born in Colorado City, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 30, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mae Lee and Ulyses Thompson; her husband Nathaniel Beaty; and her children, James Perry Thompson, Jocklyn Beaty, Lathan Beaty and Cuesta Beaty.
She is survived by: her children, Mamie Beaty of Midland, Marvin Beaty of Midland, TX and Derrell Beaty of Sacramento, CA; her granddaughter Gwendolyn Johnson of Midland; and her siblings, Ora Roberts (Gloria Roberts) of Midland and Wesley Thompson of San Angelo, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
