He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Vega and Filomena Rey; and his brother Fernando Vega. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Gonzales Vega; his daughters, Gabriella Natividad, Maria Griselda Natividad, Michelle Richey, Isabel Martinez, Elizabeth Flores, Irene Cardona and Elsa Vasquez; and his sisters, Mireya, Maria of Socorro, Irma, Erméno, Yolanda and Griselda (Jose). He is also survived by 22 grandkids.
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel (2508 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A prayer was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and Shrine (1401 Garden Ln, Midland, TX 79701). A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at the Serenity Memorial Gardens (W CR-120, Midland, TX 79706).
