She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Charles Kriethe and Rebecka Meredith Reid; her brothers, Vincent Paul Kriethe and Roland Dwight Kriethe; and her aunts, Berta Pruitt and Delma Reid.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Joe "T. J." Barfield; her children, Carla Jean Barfield, Misty Lynch, Angela Smith, John Ted Barfield (Tana) and Tommy Vernon Barfield; her grandchildren, Christopher James Barfield, Kaitlyn Renee Barfield, Kamryn Makenzie Barfield, Kinsley June Barfield and Emery Madelle Barfield; her great grandchildren, Brady, Logan and Opie; her niece Veronica Kriethe; and her nephews, Joseph and Alex Kriethe.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Assembly of God (908 Johnston St, Midland, TX 79701).
