He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Johnson and Joe Blaylock; his siblings, Mary Jo Debose, Minnie Lou Jones, Helen Johnson, Oliver Cliff Blaylock and Clarence Blaylock; his grandson Ray'Mani Latrell Johnson; his stepson Jay T Shaw; and his grandson Imari J Shaw.
He is survived by: his sons, Meredith "Bugga" Johnson of Midland, TX and Demetrius "Meech" Lee (Courtney) of Midland; his sister Dorothy Maxwell of Waco, TX; his stepdaughter Nancy N. Jordan; his grandchildren, Jamar, America, Baby Z, Kierstyn Lee and Bailey Lee; and his great grandchildren, Ja'Maria, Jamar, Ja'Myre, J'Mani, Ja Maya, Jamarion and Jordan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
