He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Anderson; his stepfather Leland Williams; and his grandson Javier Mendez III. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Williams; his wife Veronica Anderson; his son Tyler Anderson; his stepchildren, Valerie Curnutte, Vita Kieffer (Nikolaus) and Marcus Curnutte; his brothers, Butch Anderson, Joe Williams and Timothy Anderson; his brothers-in-law, Mo Saucedo (Rachel) and Luis Saucedo (Greta); his sister Lela Dawkins; his pet Meeko; and his son Mark Anthony Anderson. He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lewallen Garcia Pipkin Chapel (2508 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
