She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Mercado and Jacinta Mercado; her husband George S. Morales; her sister Socorro Rede; and her great grandchild Roland Tomas Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Dalia Morales, Irma M. Chandler (Brian) and Jeorg Moralez (Carla). She is also survived by eight grand children, eleven great-grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel (2508 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine (1401 Garden Ln, Midland, TX 79701).
