She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Sr. and Ramona Valdez; her son Jose Luis Pantoja; and her sister Alice Valdez Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Ruben Pantoja and Rosa Pantoja; and her siblings, Jose C. Valdez Jr., Carolina Gutierrez, Elida Ramirez, Elizabeth Valdez, Delma Rubio and Josie Valdez. She is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
