It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Ann Stagg of Midland, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Edward and Ada Rogers Walker; and her siblings, Leola Walker Marchand and Edward Haskel Walker. She is survived by: her friend Carolyn Bynum; her children, Cheryl Ann Hughes (Mark) of Midland, Hugh Scott Saxton (Kathy) of Mustang and Christopher Edward Saxton (Katrina) of Duluth, Georgia.; her sisters, Marla Walker and Ernestina Walker of Honduras, Beloved; her sister-in-law Carolyn Walker of Collins Mississippi; her grandchildren, Tara Anderson (Danny) of Midland, Caleb Saxton (Kayna) of Oklahoma, Jacob Saxton of Washington, D. C., Sarah Saxton of Mustang, Emily, Rachel Saxton of Duluth and Christopher Scott Saxton (Georgia) of Duluth; her great grandchildren, Kathryn Olgin, Brandon Olgin, Tristan Anderson, Walker Anderson and Lilly Anderson; and her friend Wanda Burkhalter. She is also survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Crestview Baptist Church (301 N Loop 250 W, Midland, TX 79703).
