She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey James and Daisy James; her former husband Joe; and her siblings, Cordis James of Kirksey, Joe Pat James of Murray and Aliese Paschall of Sullivan, Illinois..
She is survived by: her spouse G. I.; her children, Barbara Covington of College Station and Kevin Miles (Diane) of Midland, Texas; her grandchildren, Alicia Rickner, Christopher Miles, Sean Covington and Steven Miles; her great grandchildren, Aiden Covington and Hunter Miles; her nieces, Cheryl Jominy and Joyce Paschall; her nephew Ross James; and her great great grandchild Walker Miles. She is also survived by four great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's United Methodist Church (1701 N Main St, Midland, TX 79701). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Resthaven Memorial Park - Midland (4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705).
