It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Lee Satterfield of Midland, Texas, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Col. Robb R. Satterfield; and also Jean Wilson Satterfield. He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Hightower (Bill) of Midland; his nephew Ryan Hightower (Keleigh); his niece Sophie of Fort Worth; and also, Ashley Hightower Cole (Andrew), Elizabeth (Bessie) and Charlotte of Dallas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Midland Humane Coalition, ASPCA, or any local animal shelter, St. Jude's Children's' Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
