He was predeceased by: his parents, L. I. Dean and Mary Dean; his sister Beverly Jarrett; and his wife Tomi Jane Dean. He is survived by: his daughter Cristy Dean Pyle (Scott) of Midland; his grandchildren, Derrick Smith, Jacob Millsap of Odessa, Kamarie Carter (Will) of San Marcos, Jaydan Dean of Midland, Jordyn Pyle of Midland and Casyn Dean (Abby) of Midland; and his great grandchildren, Josiah, Elijah, Zakai and Zaramiah.
