He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Banks and Marshall Banks; his brother Richard Banks; his son James Banks; and his significant other Imogene Harrison.
He is survived by: his children, Marshall (Nandy Banks) of Midland, Lee (Mitzy Banks) of McKinney and Jessica (Doug Rogers) of McKinney; his siblings, Sam (Linda Banks) of San Marcos and Mary Cooper of Midland; and his sister-in-law Diana Banks of Ballinger. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
