He was predeceased by: his father Joe Pete Gutierrez Sr.; his grandparents, Andrea Porras and Pedro Gutierrez; and his aunts and uncles, Robert Gutierrez, Juan Porras, Isabel Cortez (Chabela) and Emilia Armendáriz.
He is survived by: his mother Iris Gutierrez; his brother Joe Pete Gutierrez Jr.; his grandmother Teresa Bustillos; his godparents, Joe and Maria Porras; his great-grandparents, Guadalupe and Eusebia Bustillos; his aunt Zayuri Payen; his uncles, Carlos Martinez and Alfonso Sanchez; and his cousin George Micheal Andrade. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1401 Garden Ln, Midland, TX 79701).
