He is survived by: his wife Laura Lujan Valenzuela; and his children, Priscilla Ochoa (Gabriel Sanchez), Gilbert Valenzuela III (Christina Diaz), Angel Valenzuela (Jeanette Valenzuela) and Gregorio Valenzuela. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
