She was predeceased by: her parents, Booker T. Young and Evelyn Young. She is survived by: her children, La Saundria Young Clay (Poopy) of Midland, John Liggins of Dallas, TX, Damon Clay (Tammy) of Midland, TX and Jermaine Gilbreath of Amarillo, TX; and her siblings, Yvonne Young of Midland, TX, Gail Mason of Houston, TX and Charles Mason (Reta) of Midland. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sanchez & Thomas Funeral Home Chapel (1502 N Lamesa Rd, Midland, TX 79701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church (303 E Shandon Ave, Midland, TX 79705).
