It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emelia Armendariz of Midland, Texas, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Porras and Apolonia Porras; her husband Jesse Armendariz Sr.; and her siblings, Roman, Leonardo, Gonzalo, Isabel and Andrea.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalinda Armendariz, Viola Armendariz, Jesse Armendariz Jr. (Rachel) and Sammy Armendariez (Connie); her siblings, Lupe Rangel and Joe Porras (Maria); and her grandchildren, Billy Joe, Tina (Danny), Jennifer (Joe) and Billie Ann. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home (2508 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1401 Garden Ln, Midland, TX 79701).
