She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. Thomas (Salty) and Dorothy R. Thomas (Toby); her son Mark Alexander; and her brother Jim R. Thomas (Earlene). She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Medellin; her son-in-law Gabe Medellin; her grandchildren, Andrea McNew (Jeff), Jason Medellin (Ashley), Joshua Medellin, Misty Waites (Bryan) and Chris Alexander; her great grandchildren, Keagan, Kristen McNew, Wes, Cody Medellin, John and David Alexander; her stepsons, Lee, Barry and Brian Moffitt of Lubbock, Texas.; and also Kay Alexander.
