With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deacon Fidel H. Saldivar of Midland, Texas, born in Lamesa, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Guadalupe Estrada Saldivar. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Cisneros Saldivar; his children, Fidel Alberto Saldivar [Jana] and Marissa Saldivar White; his grandchildren, Camryn Elizabeth Saldivar, Madison Coryn Saldivar, Karsen Noelle Saldivar, Marcus Jay White, Alyssa Janae White and Braedan Laine Saldivar; his father Fidel G. Saldivar; and his siblings, Adrian Saldivar, Belinda Rivera [Arcadio], Elvia Martinez [Daniel], Adriel Saldivar and Nelda Yvette Franco [Daniel].
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Stephens Catholic Church (4601 Neely Ave, Midland, TX 79705). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Stephen's Catholic Church (4601 Neely Ave, Midland, TX 79705).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes plants, which can be cherished as a lasting tribute.
