With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daisy Jeanette Whitmore Riggs of Midland, Texas, born in Kilgore, Texas, who passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Monicure Whitmore; her husband George; her mother Roberta Whitmore; and her siblings, Eli Whitmore, Israel Whitmore and Geraldine Whitmore Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Woods Morris (Paul), Benjamin R. Woods, Jr. (Carolyn), Lesha Woods Grace, Calvin Riggs (Faye), Carolyn Riggs Menefield and Cassandra Riggs Muth.
Among them, were Midland American Heart Association, Baptist Progressive West, Texas District, Baptist Missionary Group #1, Baptist Sunday School and Training Union, and others.
