Christopher Hardwick Reynolds Obituary
Christopher Hardwick Reynolds passed away unexpectedly May 23, 2024, at the age of 41. He was born on March 10, 1983, in Odessa, TX to parents Jim & Crecia Reynolds.
Chris grew up in Greenwood, TX and graduated from Greenwood High School in 2002. He had a deep passion for classical music & composition, so following graduation he attended the University of North Texas to study music. Chris then moved to Austin, where he lived for several years, and undertook the study of Japanese. Chris moved back home to Greenwood and in 2014 began working for Greenwood ISD, which he enjoyed until his passing.
Chris was a proud tribe member of the Chickasaw Nation. In his free time, Chris enjoyed studying the Chickasaw language, Japanese and quantum physics. He was also a skilled illustrator and writer, composing several novels and short stories. Chris also carried his deep passion for classical music and theory with him wherever he went.
Chris was predeceased by his grandparents Jon & Betty Hardwick of Baird, TX, James & Dorothy Reynolds of Rowden, TX, and Aunt Lydia Barnard of Austin, TX.
Chris is survived by his parents Jim & Crecia Reynolds of Rowden, TX, brother Colby Reynolds & wife Danielle of Boerne, TX, niece and nephew Sloan & Ryder Reynolds of Boerne, TX, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Christopher's life will be held at 1:30pm Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home, 141 E 3rd St. Baird, TX 79504.
