With solemn reverence, we commemorate Celia Olivas of Midland, Texas, born in San Antonio, New Mexico, whose life came to an end on February 1, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Concepcion and Maria (Cabezuela) of Jesus; and her brother Isidro Montez Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Ignacio Olivas Sr.; her children, Jorge Olivas (Sonia), Ignacio Olivas Jr. (Danielle), Veronica Madrid, Ramona (Robert Lopez), Corina (Margarito Mendoza) and Yesenia Salgado; and her siblings, Emilio Montez, Ventura Montez (Maria Luisa), Margarita (Raul Canul), Frances (Daniel Moreno), Hilda (Manuel Hernandez) and Delma (Joe Sanchez). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home (1106 N Main St, Lovington, NM 88260). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lovington Cemetery (600 W Gum Ave, Lovington, NM 88260).
