He is survived by: his wife Katheryn Ann Wells; his children, Karla Ann Collins (Jody Collins), Kathy Marie Bruehl (Mark Bruehl) and Kevin Glen Wells; his grandchildren, Amanda Fay Stephens, Kayle Lee Hill (Steve Hill), Jacob Michael Stephens (Erica Stephens), William Andrew Fox (Octovia Fox), Kimberlea Louise Benson (Alex Benson), Jessica Reeder, William Zachery Carder, Lyndsey Ann Carder and Sarah Elizabeth Bruehl; his great grandchildren, Julius Perry, Marie Hill, Almeda Kate King (Ally), Trey Hill, Melina Hufford, Bailey Stephens and Ian Stephens; his sister Mary Louise Webb; his sister-in-law Annette Wells; his siblings, Stella Marie Swanson (Jackie Swanson), Kathy Lynn Kirby (Dennis Kirby), Gary Lane Wells (Jacque Wells), Loraine Patricia Wells, Naomi Divine Nichols (Jeffrey Nichols) and Connie Elaine Smith (Dean Smith); and his niece Jasye Barrett (Scott Barrett). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home Chapel (3800 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX 79705).
