She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Funderburg and Annette Holland Funderburg. She is survived by: her siblings, Karen Funderburg Dodson and Robert Bruce Funderburg; her nephew Blake Dodson; and her niece Brooke Dodson Self. She is also survived by 5 aunts, 2 uncles, numerous cousins, 3 great nieces and a great nephew.
In lieu of flowers she wished donations be made to the Birmingham Humane Society.
