He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Halsey and Reva Halsey; his wife Sharlene "Shar" Kirk; his brother DeWayne Halsey; and his children, Pam Taylor, Brenda Halsey Wagner and Duane Halsey.
He is survived by: his son Keith Halsey (Peggy); and his grandchildren, Melanie Wray, Charako Applegate, Erica Garza, Jenelle Taylor, Evelyn Vowel, Meryl Daugherty, Ashley Lundquist, Alice Wagner and Matthew Wagner. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
