We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Jack Allen Fortenberry of Midfield, Texas, born in Alief, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ervin Fortenberry and Ida Fay Rodden Fortenberry; and his brother Daniel Fortenberry. He is survived by: his wife Lila Marie Thomas Fortenberry; his children, Donna Marie Lester (Keith), Bobby Rhey Fortenberry (Marylyn "Marie") and James Fortenberry (Estrella); his brothers, Lewis E. Fortenberry and Clayton F. Fortenberry; his grandchildren, Matthew Allyn Lester (Andreea), Nathan Arlyn Lester (Jill), Micah Allen Fortenberry and Merrett James Fortenberry; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Lester, Abigail Lester and Maximilian Lester. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
