He is survived by: his mother Bernice Engelholm Taska; his wife Crystal Coufal Taska; his daughter Haven Leigh Taska; his in-laws, Calvin and Sheila Coufal; his sister Debra Taska-Genzer; his siblings-in-law, David Genzer, Chris Coufal and Natalie Coufal; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Genzer, Peyton Taska-Genzer, Isabel Coufal (Izzy), Anthony Coufal (AJ) and Avery Coufal.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home (2313 Avenue I, Bay City, TX 77404). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Texas Blessings Rescue or Rainbow Room Wharton-Matagorda Counties.
