With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Carroll Hodge of Mico, Texas, born in Sparta, North Carolina, who passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Edmond Hodge and Mattie Lee Smithers Hodge; his wife Nancy Hodge; and his siblings, Robert Hodge, Herbert Hodge, Jerry Hodge, Larry Hodge, Betty Willis and Julie Burchitt.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Wolfshohl (Eddie) of Mico, Sandra Trzeciak of Crossville, Tennessee, James Robert Hodge (Adriel) of Gallino, Malinda Hodge of Crossville, Janet Lentz (Kenneth) of Baltimore and Ben Hodge (Renee) of Essex, Maryland; his siblings, Rose Holt, Rex Hodge, Shirley Davis, Texie Lee Burkentine, Viola Bowden and Susan Easter; and his brother-in-law Milton Riley (Lois). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
