He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Raymond Shaw and Ruth Johnston Shaw Wilkes; his son Ricky Tait; his wife Carolyn Shaw; his children, Rod Tait (Maria), Erica Shaw and Allan Shaw (Kelly); his daughter-in-law Nicole Tait; his grandchildren, Buford Eeds (Casey), Thalia Gonzales (Bradley), Carolina Tait (Ismael Contreras), Priscilla Tait, Erika Tait, Cameron Tait and Brayden Tait; and his sisters, Kathy Curlee and Cecelia Curlee Coleman. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
