She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Carr and Clark Carr; her husband Bill Cox; her siblings, Erma Hedgecoke, Elbie Carr, Carroll Carr, Jerry Carr, Betty Davis, Earlene Hoffer and Tommy Carr; and her son William Edward Cox Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Cox and Lynne Noland (Cory) of Athens; her sister Shirley Pitman of Pampa; and her grandchildren, Andi Blackshear (Heath), Chuck Cox (Haley) of Amarillo, Chance Cox (Anna) of Miami and Kelli Grant (Nick) of Athens. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
