He is survived by: his wife Dillie Margaret Otto Tyus; his children, Angela Tyus-Torp (William) of Coolidge, John Tyus of Prairie Hill and Joseph Tyus (Darcy) of Groesbeck, Texas.; his grandchildren, Travis Torp, Kayla Torp, Hannah Tyus and Aaron Tyus; and his siblings, Bobby Tyus of Spokane and Barbara Ann Bogue of Texarkana, Texas..
